visually perplexing- these lamps give the impression of fluid melting out of a ceiling like. Made from a hard semi translucent thick plastic, it is very tough & will stay in one piece. Offering a soft glowing light, this lamp can be brightened with a higher powered bulb. This would be a great feature & as it is ceiling mounted has no messy wires. I'm sold!
