Last Week American Idol bid a farewell to my favorite contestant Carly Smithson.

Baby Love!

My love for 50s glam is undeniable! Starting May 13 through October 19, the Victoria & Albert Museum in conjunction with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will honor the great (non princess) Diana, Mary, and Forence. All of the ever-so-glam threads of the Supremes will be on display for your enjoyment- if you are lucky enough to view!

Rad Shit: Kohler Sinks

Scultural & Artistic- nods to: the Kohler Karbon Articulating Kitchen Faucet. Futuristic in its look, and super functional! Karbn's clever engineering allows the faucet to hold any pose.

"It’s great for filling large pots, pulling down into the sink to prepare food, and tucking away out of the way when it’s not in use." www.kohler.com

art on the street: Remade in Italy

For milan design week, ‘remade in italy’ displayed works at the Torre Branca in an effort to showcase designs which prove the viability of using recycled materials. The works on display demonstrate the ability to give new life to old things and create objects which are both sustainable and functional. Green Power!

Had a kick ass house party & don't know what to do with all those empty bottles hangign around your crib? Well- I wouldn't suggest making this yourself, but here is a kick ass idea-
This fresh and innovative coat rack features the top portions of wine bottles rescued before they went to a landfill. Chic, Resourceful & Simple!

Concert Alert: Virgin Mobile

The third Virgin Mobile Festival, is being held August 9-10 at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. Headliners include- Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, Kanye West, Nine Inch Nails and Stone Temple Pilots.

The interesting part about all of this is- It is one of the largest 'green' music festivals in the States. While there may be a lot green in the audience- Virgin Mobile hosts a wonderfully eco-friendly event that's light on carbon impact but heavy on the rock and roll.

check out the official festival website at- http://www.virginmobilefestival.com/ - to sign up for news and updates.

this deservese to be a little clocky

How many times have you been late to work/school beacuse you've unknowinlgy hit the snooze button in your zombie-like state of mind? This alarm clock runs away and hides to get you out of bed. Initially "Clocky" gives you one chance to get up, But if you snooze- it will roll off your nightstand and wheel around your room looking for a place to hide, beeping all the while....forcing you to get out of bed to silence the alarm.
$65 and offered in assorted colors
